Brooke has been training dogs professionally for over six years. Outside of being an obedience instructor and behavior consultant, she is also a professional show dog handler and performance event handler. Brooke competes all over the country with her personal dogs in conformation, obedience, rally, agility and frisbee. Brooke's breed of choice is the Australian Sheperd, and she is currently breeding, showing, and competing with thies amazing breed. Brooke currently has three dogs, all Australian Sheperds of various ages. Brooke's first Australian Sheperd is Jordi, a five year old, red-tri male that has shown in altered conformation, agility, obedience, and rally. Jordii is also Brooke's demo dog in several of her group classes, as well as assisting her in rehabilitation of animal aggressive dogs. Her second Aussie is Sweeney, a ten month old, black-tri male. Her third dog is Marshall, a 10 month old, blue-merle that is currently being trained for the conformation ring. Although a pretty boy, not very bright. Brooke often uses Marshall to demonstrate the different learning capabilities dogs have.
When not training dogs for S.A.V.C. Obedience School Brooke works as an assistant in the clinic. Brooke loves interacting with clients, and client education is one of the best parts of her job.
